Dinner and overnight: Tel Aviv
Start the day with a visit to Old Jaffa. Drive north to visit Caesaria Maritima, which was the central city of Judea during the Roman-Byzantine period. Proceed to Muhraka, a Carmlite monastery on Mount Carmel (Bible – Elisa and the Baal prophets). On the roof of the monastery one has a magnificent view over the valley of Armageddon.End the day with a visit to The Basilica of The Annunciation in Nazareth. Dinner and overnight: Tiberias
Start the day with a boat ride on The Sea of Galilee. The region around the Sea of Galilee considered to be the cradle of Christianity. We visit Mount Beatitudes where Jesus gave the famous Sermon on the Mount, Tabgah which according to a tradition is the place of the miracle of the loaves and fish, and Capernaum where Jesus and some of his disciples lived. On The Golan heights we stop to visit one of the famous wine wineries and we end the day with the baptism site Yardenit by the Jordan River. Dinner and overnight : Tiberias
Driving through the Jordan Valley towards The Dead Sea, we pass thru Jericho, the oldest city of the world and the first city according to the Bible that Joshua conquers on the way back to the Promised Land. After Jericho we pass through Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found and stop at Masada for a visit to one of the most exciting sites in Israel. After Masada we stop for swimming in the Dead Sea and then drive up to Jerusalem. Dinner and overnight: Jerusalem
Start the day with the magnificent view of Jerusalem from the top of the Mount of Olives. Walk down towards the Kidron Valley and thru a Jewish Cemetery and the church of Dominus Flevit where according to the tradition, Jesus burst into tears upon his foreseeing the future destruction of Jerusalem. Down at the footstep of Mount of Olives we visit Gethsemane and the famous Church of all Nations. After an interesting morning we continue to Bethlehem to visit The Church of Nativity, one of the oldest churches in the world and the traditional site of the birth of Jesus. The old city: Start on Mt Zion with the traditional site of the last supper room and the tomb of King David, go thru the Jewish quarter to the most famous Jewish spiritual center in the world – The Wailing Wall, just a few meter away from the Muslim most sacred place in Jerusalem – The Dome of the Rock. On the other side of the old city visit The Church of St Anne and The Pools of Bethesda and than walk thru the Via dolorosa and end the tour with The Church of the holy Sepulcher witch is the traditional site of the place of the crucifixion and tomb of Jesus. In the afternoon visit to The Garden Tomb , a possible alternative to the location of Golgotha and the tomb of Jesus. Dinner and overnight: Jerusalem
The New City: Start in the morning with a visit to the Yad Vashem – The Holocaust museum, continue to the Knesset (the Israeli Parliament) to view The Menorah a bronze model that resembles the 7-branched candelabra of the Temple. Near the Knesset the Israeli parliament visit The Shrine of the Book and the Israeli museum where one can see some of the Dead Sea Scrolls and the famous model of Jerusalem from the second temple period. On the afternoon plan your own tour on your free time: There many historical and art museums in Jerusalem as well as shopping areas promenades and much more. Dinner and overnight: Jerusalem
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer from Jerusalem to Ben Gurion Airport for your return flight back home.
